Canadian designer, Arielle de Pinto, approaches jewelry as visceral expression. Noted for her modern approach to traditional craft, she delivers uninhibited hand-crocheted chain jewelry that is both raw and voluptuous. Transforming elemental metals into complex pattern and weaves, de Pinto creates tactile pieces to wear, whether over a t-shirt or evening best. Her treatment of metal as fiber demands constant physical struggle yet yields visually delicate and supple pieces.
