Eskell

Eskell was founded in Sept 2005 by Kelly Whitesell and Elizabeth Del Castillo, but the concept was born years before when the duo met back in high school in Gary, Indiana. Reuniting 2 years after graduation, Elizabeth and Kelly intensely studied clothing construction and design at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Upon graduating, Kelly enrolled in New York’s fashion Institute of Technology where she studied fashion design and worked for designers such as Miguelina and Jayne Mayle. Elizabeth completed her degree at Indiana University in Apparel Merchandising went on to work for Spiegel Catalogue. She specialized in garment and fabric sourcing and traveled extensively to Europe and the Far East.

In September 2004, Kelly moved back to Chicago to join her best friend Elizabeth where they founded Eskell.
